House in Town or Country?

Last night sitting outside for my happy hour we had the daddy of all storms. It was teaming down, the lightning was flashing, the electric had gone off and the soi was flooded. Yet despite all that I was engulfed in a tranquilty almost beyond belief. I just had to shoot some pictures of my surroundings . I really couldn't imagine giving all that up for the convenience of living in town . It made me wonder, how do others feel ?

OT prefers the city for obvious reasons. I should imagine that when my brain finds trees and rain interesting I too will be sitting in a wheelchair p1ssing my pants without realising.
