New at Makro

I managed to get some of the bagels from Makro to try. They tasted alright, but they're not what anyone from New York would consider a bagel. To me, it was just standard bread in the shape of a bagel. There's an old saying that springs to mind. "It ain't a bagel, it's a roll with a hole".

It sounds like just what Tops was trying to pass off as a bagel. I don't believe they sell them anymore either.

Hey Morti,

You seem a decent old sort, maybe a few too many changs last night? Anyway, if you remember you did actually start up that disagreement on Jon's thread last night. So if you dont want abuse then maybe you shouldn't try to start any? Just a thought Morti and I hope this weather finds you in fine form!

Makro have a stand there with mostly farang food
(Near the frozen fish fridge)
(But not branston, oxo, teteley tea bags ect!)
We know where to get them dont we! :roll:

OT made this earlier today:

I was thinkinng of opening a stall outside the gate of Makros and selling these freshly made smoked salmon with all the trimmings bagels for 20 baht each. I'll throw in a freshly made cup of nescafe 3in1 coffee for an extra 10 baht.
