Night Market Get Together

The official monthly meeting is not formal either; however some do like to turn up in fancy dress LOL.

Some members like to meet up for a few drinks and chat at the night market early on, then if another venue has been arranged some will move on there, it's just up to you on the night. It's all pretty easy going, nothing serious and just a friendly get together of a few chaps and chapesses. Everyone's welcome, wives, friends, dogs etc. LOL

is not formal either

i've been wearing my best T-shirts for nothing.

yes, meetings are very informal, as if we can be impressed, 'what a snob', or care to be impressed, or could ourselves impress. usually just provide entertainment for locals, can just image what they think sometimes. damn, foreigners must be on something, laughing all the time.

back on topic, richmond steak house mentioned as the formal/official meeting, which is usually scheduled for 8-830 pm sound like a good place. so i'll thow a vote in for that, especially for those who don't care for night market area and like knowing before hand where and when they are going somewhere.

of course that other informal/unofficial one, for those who want an early start with inexpensive food and beer, or just enjoy the night market as much as that motley crew that shows up there, anytime around 7, again, depending on that stomach. all are welcome, if you can tolerate us. then we will probably stroll over to richmond steak house and hope that beer special and server is still there. maybe lee can make it official and put a good word in, which means we'll have to show up. i did peak in the other day while out and about looking for a late night munch, and she is as cute in person. as if i expected them to be serving good at midnight.

I should be able to make the monthly meeting this time, and I'll put a word/warning in at Richmond's and let him know that the UM mob may be turning up.

honey, we're not eating dinner at night market, save your appetitie, free snacks. lee, tell them to start prepping.

nothing like free munchies, got to wash something down with them san miquels. sounds like we have a plan for tomorrow, see you all there.

Maybe they'll make a few snacks when we arrive, just incase no one turns up LOL!

I'll try and make the nightmarket, if not I'll be at Richmonds later on.



P.S. I noticed last night that the San Mig promotion has finished and has been replaced by a buy 2 Jack D's or 2 JW Black's and get 1 free.

ok, the coffee is in and i'm starting to wake. as mentioned the usual motley crew assembling at night market, myself and 2 love ones arrived quite early as the stomach was taking control. my cheap/thrifty butt steak and salad, helped with the grilled fish then finished off with some yum, tasty and cheap. as finishing up, my friend and neighbor Richard joined us as his family vanished for some food and i guess shopping. seemed like on cue the rest arrived, Stan, Val and friend Paul, all with the wives. Cliff, then Jimbo arrived shortly after. the usual intellectual exchanges and much laughter. besides our own lovelies, there was plenty to see and enjoy, as the tiger gals are back in there original painted on felines, very pleasing to the eyes of most of the men all sitting on the one side of the benches so not to miss a thing. or were they watching football. is it me, or are the skirts of the ladies getting a bit shorter, not the beer gals, just the regular customers strolling around. a couple eye catchers, as Ree noticed me noticing, oops, but she knows looking isn't the problem, it's if i ever stop looking, then we definitely have a problem. the heinys were going down quite well, then off to Richmond's as mention, festive already. met JetDoc, talked with him quite a bit, as we learned we worked for the same airlines in different cities. as Val, the memory is not as sharp at this point, as i consumed a bit more than my usual, must of, as i sleep rather well on that oh so soft mattress at top mansion. met a couple others, my apologies as names escape me. that young lady with jetdoc and wife was a cutie, also had her husband with her. my vote is female for the san miquel lovely, even though she is unusually tall. another fun and festive meeting.

Yes Fern is a very attractive and personable lady, her Aussie husband Jackie although not quite as easy on the eye, is good company also.

Unfortunately I am in ColdWetLand right now but will join next december meeting.
