Three farang wives and now I am married to a Lao.
All women are crazy, just in different ways. Now, I am with a beautiful one who can cook. At least I can eat well and drool while my life is made a living hell:)
It's not that bad really. It's a whole lot better than being married to an American woman.

You got that right. My buddy who was stationed here married his 17 year old Thai sweetie over 35 years ago and they are still happy. Of course, they stay that way because he does exactly what she tells him to do.
We webcam with them back in DC every few days.
Why are we not taught things like this in school? :D

I noticed a very amazing aspect in the last job I worked in the states before I came here, it was a unique job and everyone on it was a retired cop, everyone of those guys who only had been married once were millionairs. Bought thier first home early in life many of them had paid them off. Property values had increased so much in The Los Angeles in 25 years that they when they were ready they could sell the homes for enough between investments and retirement they had a huge amount of money. Those of us with mutiple marriages well we didn't have huge amoonts of money, but enough to come here and not work.

Between thier job and retiremetns thier biggest problem seemed to be how to pay less taxes, well over 120K a year.

Wel I don't have a million, but I have enough to live comfortably here.

Most of those guys when they really retired moved to areas where real estate was not as expensive. paid cash for thier homes. Had retirement coming from work, investments and Social Security, they did OK to
