Well another forum meeting been and gone. A little more decorious than norm without LA, until Pops arrived of course. About a dozen members in total last night. Really nice to put faces to some who were previously just names.Sorry I'm a bit late commenting but have only just got home from last night, yes it was that sort of night, well for me anyway.Got there about 7.00pm, shortly after, Bkkstan , family and dog , paid a fleeting visit, so fleeting they never even sat down. Then gradually every one else started to arrive. There were so many farangs around looking lost who I thought must have been looking for the meet, so I asked and to my surprise found out not everyone had heard of the Udonmap forum. They have now. Might be a good idea to fly a flag or something in future.
The Tiger girls were out in full force with the three normal ones in their , oh so tight mini dresses accompanied by two new ones in "Sports gear" football shirt, brief pants and knee length white socks. Think it was supposed to be football gear. I know I could have got "red carded" just for my thoughts. As though that wasn't enough my favourite team, Arsenal were playing the North London rivals, Tottenham on the big screen. Arsenal won 3-0 :D
In between ogling the girls and watching the match I found time to speak to everyone there who included: Jimbo, T.C., Jet doc, Vic Vegas, Mr Muscle, Pops, Lee, Skipvice and yours truly . If I have missed anyone please accept my apologies, but it was 4 tables full and my memory ain't what it was.
Well thats the last meet for this year, so have a Happy New one to all that we have met during the last 12 months. To all the others. get along in 2007 and join in the fun. We've missed you. :)

 Sorry to have miss you all.I have always had a good time with the bunch at the night market. We came down early from Nong Khai at about 4:30.We gorged ourselves at the night market and went for a shopping walk to Robinsons, had a little personal stuff come up that changed our mood and decided the best thing was to head home.

Didn't see anybody we knew as our regular tables were occupied. Finally spotted Val keeping his eyes on the beer gals.Hope to meet some of the new faces next time.I am happy to hear there was such a good turnout :)

The night market is the best venue to meeting up IMO!

Happy Holidays to everyone!

also sorry to have missed the event and new faces. my apologies, as i miscalculated the consuption of beer and walking the night before and over did it, causing a bit of bad back discomfort along with a last minute change of plan, which didn't go as planned anyway. took only two v's, a mere 20 mg and woke up in a stupor at 8:30 with no energy at all. haven't taken them for quite some time, didn't expect 20 mg to knock me out like that. maybe next time i will be functioning. glad all went well.

Bob Helm, didn't forget you, if you arrived had someone ready to fulfill the promise of first round :D i haven't welched on a promise yet, i dont' think :D

Sorry not to have met you. Maybe next time, or, as I found out last night, the buy 2 get 1 free is still on at the Jazz if you live close. Let me know if you want to take advantage of it. My wife is out of town and it is unwise for me to go anywhere alone or without male companionship.
Careful with the Vs. I weigh over 100 kilo and get knocked over by 10mg. That's post L4-S1 fusion with 2 and 3 about to be fused. Careful with the mix.

The Kuhn Poo Ying and I will be there for you Val. I have to prove to her that I am really watching the big screen tv and not the Tiger Girls. So, I will be wearing my sunglasses at night.
We just returned this morning from Pattaya. Took the bus down overnight, stayed New Years Eve at my favorite Julie Complex Hotel and returned. We were sitting in the outside beer bar at the Mike Complex at about 6:40 when we heard about Bangkok. By 7pm, Walking Street looked like an armed camp. Very impressive mobilization by the Army, Navy and Police. Lots of racially profiled individuals recieved nasty looks. Those pulling suitcases or carrying backpacks were stopped. For the first time we stayed out beyond 0200, met some crazy Spaniard who knows folks up here and had a rauchous time. The 13 hour bus ride home was grueling though. Adventure is the ped ped of life.
See you Saturday.

Well the forum meeting last night. Not a lot to report really. I sat there from 7-8.30 and no one had turned up so decided to call it a day when lo and behold, LA and TC both arrived at the same time. So another Tiger and chat for a couple of hours, although chatting was a bit difficult owing to a party going on as it was Khun Preecha's birthday and the 3rd anniversary of his market opening. So he organised a lot of entertainment on stage, singers, dancing school kids and a comedian, which although was nice to watch, in typically Thai fashion, was conducted at the fullest possible volume from the speakers, making talking and even watching the football impossible to enjoy. So it was an early departure, with 2/3rds of the members(La and I) seeking pastures new, all in the course of carrying out research for the benefit of forum members we went to New York, the new club in the old Volvo showroom. A report on which will be posted in the night life column.
The next meet will be on February 3rd, hope to see a few more then. :D

Well the next meet would have been scheduled for this coming Saturday 3rd February, but no ones posted since the last one, so I guess interest has waned. Possibly the more casual get together in the meeting up forum has attracted more interest? Shame really, it used to be a very enjoyable get together. Of course it could be about all this talk of out of date beer. Who knows

Febuary's meeting falls on Makha Bucha day, so some others may have plans. Myself, thinking about going somewhere since I haven't taken advantage of any of the 3-4-5 day weekends the past couple month.

On the meet up, might head over to the market tonight, since will miss next week, plus Ree hasn't seen sis in a while. I believe Farang may show up there this evening, said one of those outdated beers has you name on it. Myabe see you both there later.
