couple weeks, just back from Laos.............25 baht a bottle, almost worth the trip.

I'm guessing an increase at VM due soon, maybe old stock, and actually following the law. hopefully they will keep the same price

That's 100 % mark-up from over the border. Almost good enough reason to hop back over....

Just back from laos, and at the border, couldn't find any Beer Lao dark for under 30 baht a bottle (ordinary lager a bit cheaper). Some shops were asking 35 baht. Guess they have upped their markup to match Thailand's increases!

Last month or so, only 1 gal had it at 25 or 26, dark. The rest were gouging, almost didn't get any. Should of picked it up in town, as with the Bailey's, which was much cheaper at the gov't vendor. 25 should be the price in town. Wonder if they sell at brewery?

Back in stock at Makro. 5 dark and at least 5 light .

Great News, Sakon Macro also has them now, cant beat it for value and quality over anything else thats available, all the other imported beers are just way to expencive also the ones on the shelf in Tops =D> Beer lao for me

Best stock I've ever seen at Makro this morning. A full pallet of each style. Maybe due to the recent price increase? 1080 and 1145 per case for the lager and dark, respectively. Cost of living just keeps going up in LOS.
