RIP to Tom Smith, a long time Resident of Udonthani<>30 plus years. Tom pass-away, 25 December at his Home. He was a retired U.S. Serviceman and member of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars(VFW). Funeral Services will he held on Monday 1pm, 29 December, at Wat Pho, behind AEK Hospital

Another Udon icon who will be sadly missed. Not only lived a Full House but a Royal Flush. RIP Tom.

Not many of us get to live a full house let alone a royal flush. He must have had a fascinating life. I wish I had heard some of his stories. 30 plus years in Udon would have been really interesting.

The first time I met Tom was at his oldest grand daughters 9th birthday party, back in 2003. We became immediate friends. The 5 years I lived in Udon were more pleasant having known Tom Smith and his family. Although I left Udon in 2007, I have fond memories of times spent with Tom and his wife. He will be missed by many.
