Thai authorities test software to intercept https

A worrying trend & fits in nicely with the need to register pre-paid SIMs as well.
On Thursday, Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha ambiguously mentioned the software. He said that Thai citizens should not be worried about the software if they did nothing wrong, although he ironically said that people do not need to worry about privacy.
Well yes. of course. Will that apply to ALL citizens ??
I think not... :(

Does this report imply that http (Forum) and smtp (e-mail) are already no longer a problem to intercept?
Please wear suitable clothing when attending a concert in Udon Thani. Slacks and short-sleeved shirts are ok, shorts, tank tops or muscle shirts are not.

I've developed the same reaction to the proponents of the coup as I have to those who are adamant about 2nd Amendment rights to bear arms: martial law 9 months out, yawn. Another school shooting, yawn. Broken economy, yawn. 2 year-old kills his mother in Walmart, yawn.
Sometimes you just have to live with what you ask for......democracy or no democracy.....happy happy happy!

So are you saying that Thailand has the government it deserves?
