Good lovers lie

Post by GT93 » February 8, 2015, 3:09 pm

Here's a link to a New York Times opinion piece where it's asserted good lovers lie:

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/02/08/opini ... pe=opinion

"VALENTINE’S DAY is not a celebration of truth telling. God forbid! Relationships last only if we don’t always say exactly what we’re thinking. We have to disguise our feelings, to feint, to smile sometimes when we want to shout. In short, we have to lie ..."

Perhaps this is why many of us are so smitten by Thai women ... they tell the right lies?

They tell you what you want to hear, which suits OT. No point getting all unnecessary because she told you something that drove you mad. Better off not knowing, it works both ways, OT tells them porky pies when need be.

OT..... \:D/

Alan likes me whispering into his ear as I rub his belly in the night time.

I'd send him a Valentine's card if I had his e-mail address but he's playing hard to get.

Better not go to Tesco's in UK for a "Val card" ......

Just received this info in an e-mail ....

"Tesco also boobed when they gave me a voucher for a £1 saving when I spend £4 or more on Valentine cards: however, the most expensive card I could see in my local store cost £3.50 - so do they think I'm a bigamist?"
