Well, I think we'll see your response quite soon given the government seems to have got considerably worse since good government was supposed to have started.

Bishop and Turnbull at times now have to openly contradict Abbott given they care about the politics rather than just self-preservation.

No I intentionally left Gillard out. I think she was way better than "too flawed to last long as Prime Minister". She was Prime Minister in very difficult circumstances thanks to Rudd, Abbott and a small majority. Abbott has had it easy apart from his tendency to kick himself and others in the arse way too often.

His language while in New Zealand about IS was noticeably over the top with emotion. For a well educated man he doesn't seem to be very analytical. He seems to have responded to Triggs with his emotions. We saw what a reasoned response might look like from Turnbull.

I have very little time for Brandis and Pyne. I hope Turnbull or Bishop demote both of them.

Pyne should go get a job in the real world and then after 2 decades of real work try to enter Parliament again. I think it's sad how too many MPs from both sides seem these days to be career politicians from such a young age.

But he's conceded this could be challenging for the federal Labor party.
