Dentures! I have just had a set , top and bottom ( Partial) done for me by the lady dentist at Wattana hospital Udon I suspect she does all the pre fitting and send them to their dental department.

I cannot recommend her enough. Also I told a friend of mine about her excellent work and he rang today and told me he is very happy with the service and workmanship. By the way top and bottom plates 8000 Bht. If you can better that tell us all about it.

Good luck

top and bottom took 4 fittings Which I /we spread over 4 weeks . That was a joint decision to take that long as one visit per week fitted my schedule.

No hassle, very clean/sterile. Good all round in my opinion, also no big waiting list as she seems to have the ability to be on time!!

Go to the front desk and they will get you an English speaker to make an appointment for you, The dentist also speaks excellent English

Good luck

Denture Repairs

Hi

I went to the Wattana Hospital this morning, regarding my broken upper denture (4 false teeth in total on the denture, 1 broken off). My wife asked how much to make a new denture, rather than make a repair. The dentist had a quick look inside my mouth, and said the cost was B 4,600. She said it would also take 3 fittings. I thought it a bit expensive, so I declined.

My wife's friend has given us another dental practice address, will try there tomorrow and hopefully get it repaired , or renewed.

PS the quick look inside my mouth ( less than 2 minutes) B 150.

150 bht to look inside your mouth.!! I probably wouldn't look in there if you PAID ME! Its the price of a bottle of coke for god sake. Some one has to clean the seat you sat on and sterilize the mirror you breathed on . Would you do it for free??
One filling in the west would cost the same as your complete top set in Thailand What do you do for free? Ususally you get what you pay for
