It must be in the blood only a complete fool would do what our friend did, search again and find so many replies.
Either that or he has so much money to waste ...sorry I mean spend.
As for Spain or other euopean venues,.look again their whole countries are in the proverbial due to the financial quagmire.

Im happy to say my friend met a new lady, and now they are married and have a lovely daughter together, they are living together in Norway, and she is running a sucessful buissnes in in Korat. They have a lovely luxury house in Korat, and all he wants is that that the old lady is not forgotten and people anderstand what nonsense she is!!!!!

An interesting story and a tribute to your friend's tenacity that he is still looking for her after quite a number of years. I think that by now I would have calmed down and just chalked it up to experience.. a 800,000THB 'lesson in life', if you will..
Her appearance may now be quite a bit different from the picture of course.

What crime under Thai law has she allegedly committed ?.

Did your friend have legal document written in Thai language. Witnessed and registered as a loan ?

The SME company that she might have formed for the licence is still 51% Thai as a minimum.

Has your friend reported to the Police to report these allegations ??

scam is a crime, its not legal, proof of money trasfer,so on so on.....
