If your Mrs. isn't guarding you 747man, uncle's posts suggest you might have numerous Lao women offering themselves to you unless uncle's got some 007 charm that mere mortals don't have. I have my doubts on that given his extraordinarily unkind remarks about the Toffees.

I am growing to like this word "Riviera" for Nong Khai. Nongers (sorry Dero) has some magic. Feels like 44 - I'm glad to be giving that a miss. Man when is it going to cool down?

should be a piece in the echo about Thailand's Riviera ,Cote d'nongers.
fine dining. 1 star hotels. miles of beaches. water sports. nightlife .friendly tuk tuk drivers. luxury shopping malls. wonderful all year round weather with it's breeze off the klong. bloody hell sound like it's worth going there

And close to that 5 star paradise for men over the river. This last one needs some verification. It might be that uncle really has the 007 charm and others would not do so well with the fairer sxx over the river. Surely they must if wearing an Everton shirt? I think I just heard Zids cough up some of his rice porridge.

I always visit Nongers (sorry Dero) when visiting Udon. Ah, the Riviera ...

Well Back from My " River Crossing " & Giving the Laos Government my 35 US$,Noticed hardly any Fake Lacoste Shirts

OR Real Ones for that matter on " The Other Side " They MUST Be taking this ASEAN Thingy Seriously now & Been told to dispose of them.....Oh ! Well I Suppose one could always make the trip to Bangers Or Patts in the Future.....

Anway just to Clarify .....It WAS Bleedin' Hot over there,No Breeze coming off " The Klong " as Papa calls it ( Cheeky Sod !!! ) I Would hazard a guess at somewhere around the 40c Mark....

The Rain has now stopped on the Riviera after a solid 11 Hours,Cooled the temp down to 26c with a feel like of 33c That's Much COOLER Than this time yesterday.....

Also put a God 2 Inches in my Pool,Overnight...

Oh life seems so peaceful on the Riviera ...

It's very heavy going in some of the other threads these days. In contrast this thread celebrates living despite the best Manchester team recently getting the better of the most important football team in the universe!

I sense a bite coming from uncle in one of his customary otherwise cheerful posts.

Very Clear & Sunny from 2.00 till 5.00pm, Had 3 LAZY Hours by The Pool & Also Vacuumed and Chlorinated it...Maximum Temp This Afternoon was 34c.......NICE.....

I'd love to have been strolling around Nongers (sorry Dero) this afternoon. I'm too young to be shuffling. An afternoon on the Riviera would be great ... although feeling like 45 would be a challenge.

Uncle will have entered that period where one's recent holiday seems long ago. It probably explains his extraordinarily unkind remarks about Everton's supporters on the EPL thread (30 August):

Another cheerful day forecast in Nong Khai today - cloudy with a touch of rain. 75 to 83 whatever the hell that means. Real feel of 98. The last bit a must for marjamlew.

Heavy thunderstorms are forecast for tomorrow afternoon. So today seems just the day for a stroll or shuffle along the waterfront to relax and chill out from life's stresses. That or a couple of bottles of Archa.

The weather in Huyton in Merseyside is expected to reach a maximum of 15c 59f today......cloudy with sunshine and showers.
Nighttime temperatures are not supposed to drop below 11c 52f.....light winds with 70% humidity.

Just preparing 747man for when he "breezes" back into the UK shortly (if youll pardon the pun)

Oi, I'm Prepared for a Nice 21c in London Heathrow next Wednesday,And a Lovely 19c in Liverpool the day after with PLENTY Of Sunshine according to www.accuweather.com ,It will be a bit of RELIEF After a year of 30c+ In NONGERS.......You're Only Envious.....
