The owners of the Prajaktra Design Hotel (near NongPraJak) were interviewed in a recent article in the Thai press. They discussed the opening of a 50 million Baht hostel on Soi Rachapatsadu (ซอยราชพัสดุ) (I believe that's Soi Katoi) with 53 rooms, advertised to be in the 800 baht range. That hostel is now open.
The owners are also preparing for Prajaktra #3, scheduled to be built on a 10 rai plot about 100m from the existing Prajaktra Design Hotel. Prajaktra #3 will be built with premium business customers in mind and will include 250 rooms and a conference room for 4000. The hotel is scheduled to be completed by mid 2560.

Prajaktra #2 and #3
While it is interesting to note the expansion of this Hotel group, I see little improvement in the infrastructure to assist in the expected increase in users, as per normal they build and the 20 year old infrastructure has to deal with the increase, like Lumpini park condos, if all the occupants drove out they would halt traffic completely.
Prajaktra #2 and #3
not to worry.. Like AEK Udon Hospital the Lumpini Condos will have a whistle blowing arm waving security guard 'assisting" cars going in and out.. The problem for those condos will be when they reinstall the lane dividers and folks coming from downtown try to do a U-Turn on the railroad tracks so they can enter the condo complex!
