The lake @ Beung Samrang, (F11 I think). It was a little crowded today, in a few spots, but it is a Big Lake :!: Clothing optional :!: Sorry, no diving board :!: I do wonder about the trucks parked with hoses going into it, but I think they are just drawing water.

Went to bang Chiang this morning at 6.30.
Entry 60 baht, 900 for one month, seems to be a good place, 10 kids arrived early (before 7 am) to learn swim with teachers. Stopped by yesterday at 5 pm, too may kids, thank you.
for the gym they asked 200 or 1500/month.

Mekong, Wat Nong Goong, where's that? Nong Khai somewhere?
Did not find Beung Samrang, F11 is Napalai?
How's the water quality there DDWeb?

The water Quality seems OK-(Thalenoi)-I am not going anymore-( I am member)because, every time I go, there are 100 kids+families+ swimming Instructors-too noisy-no room too swim, etc. When I went a few times-seemed no one checked to see if they were members, or guests of Hotel-I think anyone can just walk in and go swimming-ahahhaha-I was there(1) one afternoon and (1) one guy,his wife and (10) ten kids just walked in and went swimming no one checked them. ahaah- People also order food there-but then the staff never picks up the dishes til hours later!!!!!! The chairs are old and broken-Lucky to get a place to sit or put your things down. I do not recommend it-UNFORTUNATELY! I am very disappointed in the Hotel Services and seems the staff just have a good time --talking,joking and putting make-up on-ahahahahh-Sanook. (JUST MY OPINION)

There is a lovely creek behind Tawan Daeng Nightclub, if you like a cool dip.

The Napali is a little cleaner these days, I like to go when the sun goes down and there are less people.

I took this shot a couple of nights ago - a couple beers and dip in the pool, followed by dinner at the Thai Orchid Restaurant, lovely! :D
