We rescue cats at the shop - sort jabs, get them healthy and then move them to our home n garden. Got a frisky one who needed to stay until 3 month + and my transit cage to make them feel safe in the garden bit too small to accommodate litter tray in addition to bowls n toys. They are happier if look out and meet other cats in safety for 3/4 days.
