California Restaurant

Postby TJ » April 8, 2008, 11:09 pm

Today I had a large BLT on a soft sub roll at the California which was just right for my American taste. Went to the California a couple days ago with my TG and we both enjoyed the Mexica cheese quesadia (sp?). It's across from Molly Malones.

Met the owners, Sal and his wife, and had a pleasant and informative chat.

BTW Sal mentioned that he was interested in selling the restaurant. Says they want to move to Kahn Kean where their daughter is going to college.

I always forget about the California Cafe. I will have to make a note to myself to stop by soon.

I have never had the BLT but the breakfasts were very tasty, especially since they are the only ones in town that actually have freshly made real hash browns served with the breakfast orders. And freshly brewed coffee from Lao.

Nobi's also has a very tasty breakfast with his good quality bacon and sausages.

But I still like my home cooking the best.
