Posting in the correct Forum

Postby arjay » October 3, 2008, 11:13 am

I've posted a copy of this from Paul under Forum Help & Support. The request certainly has my support and endorsement, as does keeping on topic within each particular thread:-

Paul wrote:This forum covers just about any subject you can think about.
To make it easier to participate in those areas which interest you and to make it easier for people to find information about certain subjects, the forum was split into various topic headings - such as "General topics on UDON THANI", sport, politics, world news, nightlife etc....

The 'behind the scenes workers' on this forum DAILY try to clean up the forum, deleting bad language, personal attacks, spam, excessive free advertising, mis-posted posts and most of all; topics under the wrong heading. This is what takes up most of the time - we are trying to clean it up for your, and everyone elses benefit and would ask that you think for a moment first BEFORE posting 'is it under the correct heading'?

Most posts get thrown into the General Topics on UdonThani' heading because its the first heading.
The first two I moved out of there this morning related to getting TV through a computer and going to a beach

Please Post Under The Correct Heading and let the admin staff enjoy reading the articles instead of spending so much time moving them to their appropriate places

Thanks

You know Usually GENERAL TOPIC would mean anything is ok. here it is sometimes difficult to pick the right heading to post under. Some of you old posters seem not to want anyone new to post anything because we are new and make the mistake of not finding the right spot to post because there are so many with almost the same meaning. But it is General Topics on Udon Thani snowman...

And i am sure there is a Forum for everything, but just to be on the safe side..Just try 'Open forum' if you are not sure which forum to post under, and new posters are welcome.

No, I don't think so, you might get a bit of ribbing from some posters but that's all. Anyway, go and tell them to blow it out their rear end if they're that sad. :fart:

However, it's always worth a quick check before you submit the post just to make sure you have it in the right area. ;)
