It is only issued for marriage kopkei - so the marriage certificate & some copies of it.
As far as I am aware only ever a single entry has been permitted from the Embassy in Vientiane - although there is no limit on how many of them you can have..

I don't recall if it's required, but if it's based on marriage, he may also want to include a copy of the wife's National ID and possibly a copy of her house book.

Better to have it and not need it, rather than need it and not have it ;)

As PapaG says along with the original and copy of marriage certificate take a copy of the wifes ID and house book, have her sign them both as well.

I've done the trip on 3 occasions and twice I was asked for the ID and house book the third time just the marriage certificate.

Not sure this will help Kopkei, but I have a friend married to a Thai who travels 1x year to belle-gium to renew his non-o based on marriage, one year multiple entries because he can not "prove" an income of 400k. Thus he needs to perform 3 border runs/year. Apparently no need to show money at the Thai consulate in Brussels.

I do the trip across the bridge every 3 months to apply for Non 'O' Visa. Copy of Marriage Certificate, Copy of House Book (in wife's name) Copy of Wife's ID. Copy of my passport. En Route to Hotel in Vientianne I submit all paperwork to the Thai Embassy, plus of course my Passport they issue a receipt which you submit following day at 13:30hrs. Collect passport and return to LOS. Last time i.e. earlier this month I was back in Udon by 15:00 hrs. I often do a bit of Duty Free Shopping at the Bridge and enjoy a mug of Laos Cappuccino at the very pleasant coffee shop adjoiming the duty Free Shop. All in all a pleasant 3 monthly experience! Hope the documentation info helps.

Thalenoi

I know the meaning of Belle-gium, And i don't find it beautyful :-"

Fore the visa quistion, The Embassedy in Brussel ask fore a proof of monthly income 1200€. (fee 120€, 3 working day's)

The Consulate in Antwerp ask fore a proof of income 1000€ monthly. (fee 120€, pick-up next day)

This fore the 50+ years, Non-Immigrant O visa multiple entry.

Fore a maried-visa the same aplications as in Thailand are handled in both, Embassedy&Consulate.

Frans.
