to read about it a little more, this thing below has identical dimensions and
runs about 200$ with radio and everything else. Well, I see what you're
saying about Tong being the guy, sounds very helpful. Yes, the Tiger moth
is pretty, there is a trade-off for the ready-to-fly foam jobs. Looks like loads
of fun actually. NOW, all I have to do is change my room in the middle of the
night, effectively giving the TG the slip, and there will be MORE than enough
in my budget to go out and buy some toys. What would you say a package
from Tong runs? radio, servos, batteries, all that's needed?

you can buy a similar kit as the mustang you illustrate ready to fly for maybe 3-5000... and your flying but the motor is crap the radio gear is crap, you cant repair it easily... its a toy for kids....the stuff i use if good stuff not exper quality but 1o times better than the rtf stuff....

Thanks again Mr. Dave, I always tend to over-research prices of stuff
here, it just really helps to have a general idea of a baht range before
you go to the shop. Quality varies everywhere but you've given this
particular guy's shop a glowing recommendation. I see what you're
saying, if you get decent radio gear you can swap it around while the
rest of the squadron is in the hanger awaiting repairs.

While you are in pattaya why dont you seek out the local rc flying club,, maybe its chonburi rc club or maybe there is one in pattay, Make sure they fly electric otherwise only nitro,,,, i wen t to a rc nitro club gere in udon yesterday.... wow!!! Big noisy and expensive gear, electric much less stress!!!!!
