Hi All
I have some r/c parts I don't need any more if any members are into it.
I have posted them in classifieds, and can post them or bring them to Udon on the 24th Nov.
Best offers.

BigWaveDave, where do you buy all your plane stuff? I'm thinking I need some
new relaxing activity. You know a little therapeutic concentration on a task. Crashing expensive RC gear sounds fun. Or maybe I can watch you do it?

Man you guys that sounds really cool!! I remember, I don't remember if I was living there at the time, but just outside of Phoenix, Az. they had a lot of competitions at one of the old air force base runways. One year one of the airplanes got away and hit a spectator in the head and killed them

But when we get there for our next holiday I would love to come and watch!! Will PM you "bigwavedave" when we are coming just after the New Year....

Super Cheers ;) Ed

No problem ed... luckily these aeroplanes are mostly the electric ones so not big heavy dangerous ones... Anyone curious just turn up at 5pm any day, its really interesting... i went there originally to watch as i used to own a real plane (beec b0nanza) so miss flying, however this is definately the next best thing.... and like i said its really addictive...

Start up costs are the most expensive but then it costs nothing to fly every day...
Plane (trainer) to begin with 3700b, radio 5000b, charger 1700, battery 850... thats it and your flying... Also if you upgrade to a different plane you only pay for the plane as you already have all the other stuff....
In a month i now have 3 planes!!! a trainer (piper cub) a tiger moth and a mustang p51... there is even a guy there who builds them and repairs them luckily... so cheap too!!!!

thanks for the link B M. but i really don't think it did the mustang justice, could of course be my computer. ive got no idea where i was, or why, or even how long ago , but there was an air display going on, and this mustang came in at about 200 feet , you could hear it coming and when it went overhead the ground shook . that sound will stay with me till the day i die , fantastic . i thought at the time it must of scared the s~it out of the germans in normandy. nothing ive heard since including the old V8 cosworth formula 1 engines comes even close. :D :D :D
