RAF Humour

Look at this carefully...........it is brilliant, and a true example of British Humour!!
The British government has scrapped the Harrier fleet and on their farewell formation flypast over the houses of Parliament they gave the government a message.
Lean back a bit from your computer monitor and squint.

Clever, but, sadly, not true... :D
Only 16 aircraft actually took part in the farewell & nowhere near London (around Lincoln), let alone the Houses of Parliament.
Still a nice thought though.. :D

The farewell is to involve a 16-aircraft formation which will perform flypasts at the RAF’s facilities at Wyton, Cranwell, Waddington, Scampton and Coningsby and also over Stamford, Lincoln and Oakham before returning to land at Cottesmore. The aircraft should take off from around 13:15 local time and land around 90min later, the Ministry of Defence says.
