Reloading MS Office

I need to reload my legal copy of MS office 2007 onto my laptop but when I try I need to enter the serial number. Hhhmmm threw away the packaging a long time ago. Is the serial number embedded in the software somewhere, or how can I get a copy of it.

Not really that much of a help, I was told the serial number is embedded in the registry, but was hoping someone could varify this

It should have the key in the "Software Licenses" section.

It is also a very handy program to keep running in your computer.

Thanks Frans, I'll have a look at this too, but yes the BeLarc sorted the problem.
