Road outside Central.

Postby trubrit » February 8, 2010, 4:55 pm

Notice has apparently been served on the council today that The Central group intend closing the road outside their property, from Tawang Dang to the traffic lights to all through traffic. Permitting access vehicles only. This is of course their own private property. No date was given. The council intends to extend the dual carriageway from AEK lights across the station X roads so that you turn left just past the old Paolo hospital to join the road past 108 computer shop .Again no date was given . Just hope they get together on this or it might be chaotic . :-"

So, let me see if I've got this right .......

They are going to make the road between the 2 sides of the night market, the main road through Udon :-k
Sounds like a recepie for chaos to me. Hope they allow enough space for treble parked motorbikes on either side of the road.

Well with a bit of effort, disaster will strike and I always wonbdered why, the owners of that road did NOT exercise their right before.

If i was a betting man, I would bet it will take a few deaths before anything bordering on commonsense will take root here.

No through traffic, eh? Wonder how they will enforce that? Probably be a lot of thru-drivers who will be claiming they are going to shop in the complex. :-k

Guess it will all become clearer in due time.

Setting up angle parking on that street was a good idea, however. =D>

Onward and upward.
