Only some as-yet unknown dark horse has even a prayer of a chance to lead the Republicans. The rest are racing toward the bottom.

Well, Romney is still going, but is it because the alternatives are just even worse?

I especially found the bit about who is NOT running interesting. Are they staying out of it because they know the republican Party is - one - currently not electable as it is too far to the right; and two - who wants to be in charge during a recession? They are waiting for 2016.

the American electorate has a short memory span.. As soon as Rommney wins in SC and FL and thus sews up the nomination, expect a sharp swerve to the middle to appeal to indepedents.. You can bet the Democratic politcial machine will pull out their knives and start serious hatchet jobs on Rommney.. American politics these days are notoriously brutal thus many "qualified" candidates choose not to run...

The topic heading is a bit misleading because the reader is not sure if the OP is talking about North, Central or South America. If it is North America, well, then there is the problem of wondering if he/she is on about Canada, Mexico or the United States. Two of those, Canada and the United States, were mostly created by Britain whilst the third, Mexico, is mostly a creation of Spain. The politician, Romney, has it all wrong - God had nothing to do with it! And the British certainly did not want the United States to rule the world since Britain was doing such a good job of it already.

All one can say is that after reading the majority of the posts about this subject, this Romney chappie is obviously suffering from delusions of grandeur,as his collective brain cells seem obvious to the fact that a great many people helped to put America on the map. And none to my certain knowledge pretended or even stated they were God or any relation to him/her .
So it again a sound bite used to mis-direct something American politicians seem able to do without even batting an eyelid, hoodwinking the American public they may be able to do but the rest of the world are not really that stupid.....or are they ? .

As usual, the usual America-bashing suspects on UdonMap.com take a quote that plainly says "LEAD" -- in two places, and decides that the person saying it said "RULE".
