Rugby Supporters Surprise 26 November

Postby BIGAL » November 24, 2011, 10:44 am

Just as we were all forgetting the World Cup ( except the Kiwis), we have a surprise Rugby International this Saturday 26 November at 930pm Udon time, BARBARIANS VS AUSTRALIA.

Victor Matfield will captain this side coached by Graham Henry! This has all the ingredients for a really enjoyable game of rugby with the like of Bryan Habana & Steven Mortlock playing. It will also provide a good warm up for Australia, who will play Wales the following Saturday 3 December at the same time ( 930pm Udon time )

I have yet to hear of any bars in town that will be screening this so hope to hear from you? \:D/

Rob has sent a PM to say that he is still away on holiday but we are welcome to screen the game at Aussie Bar tommorow 930pm! Hope True Vision are screening this? =D>

Nice to see Pocock is captaining the Wallabies for the first time!

This is really not about the result but rather just for great entertaining rugby, good one to look forward to. See you there!

Well Barbarian rugby did not live up to it's high standard of running rugby as Australia thrashed them 61-11 this Saturday! We were devestated that no channels televised this match in Thailand.

Fiji romped passed New Zealand in the final of the Aussie leg of the 7's series & now the series moves to the next leg in Dubai.

Wales vs Australia 3 December 930pm ( Udon time )

Let's hope & surely the Aussie network will be screening this game or if not Rob will be back from his holiday so he can screen it on internet streaming. \:D/

You might be better off trying one of the South African Channels as Oz is very unreliable for Rugby !!

Unfortunately no supersport channels in Thailand anymore!

We are left to Internet live streaming if Aussie network do not screen this on Saturday night.

Wales have a chance this Saturday to avenge their disappointing world cup loss to Australia at the Millennium Stadium 930pm Udon time, great game to look forward to, any Welsh supporters still believe in this team? Sam Warburton will be back to challenge Pocock at the breakdowns this time as the skipper missed the world cup clash after being suspended. We are still waiting to see if this will be televised here? ](*,)

Well, great last try for Shane Williams but it was not enough to keep Australia out, Australia winning 24-18. Wales overall were disssapointing after taking a 6-0 lead early on and going into halftime 6-3 up! But it was the Aussies that dominated play through the second half with a great solo try from Will Genia. Two late tries from Wales were too little to late but it was a fitting farewell to Shane Williams! That's it for rugby in 2011! [-o<
