Yes O/T I know you well, I take it you will be looking to buy a job lot of t-shirts for all the "Well Fit" birds we hear about, drop me a PM with all their sizes and we will get them ready, Once I know Quantity and sizes we can discuss discount :-$

On a more serious note for the 3rd day in a row we have more Jeramid about 200 fish each 2-3 kilos in size arriving about 5pm today \:D/

I dont actually remember O/T buying any part of Sabai Sabia Fishing Park, So not sure where comment about him watching and throwing people out comes from certainly not from the owners but then O/T seems to think he can do anything he wants!!!Aardvark dont worry we have XXL size in Stock.

O/T if you want to eject people then maybe you need to think about buying a 1/2 share in the park otherwise you really cant say anything about the MY rules.

Finally we received a delivery today of more Jeramid and Gourami, Not think about customers here but I had a great time fishing and couldnt stop the fishfrom taking my hook, I had give up as out of power!!! but great day had by all

regards Paul

Thanks Mate, never took O/T seriously [-X after all, he is just a Keyboard Commando (who served in the SAS) and will probably be more interested in his "Well fit Birds" than a "Well fit" Aussie fighting machine like me ;) :D

Monkeyman & Red67, when the thread is going stupidly interesting why do you have to go and bring it straight back on track. Thinks I know how a certain person knows about the honda wave Red67!! You're a bit of a reg. at Sabai, sabai surely you could do some digging (not for worms), Monkeyman cheers for helping to land that 85kg one the other day (see I can laugh about it now) Paul - I don't think I know you but Red67 speaks highly of your place to all my guests, and apparently your not that far from The Englishman's Retreat, drop me some leaflets at the bar and I'll see if I can promote you even more than he does already.

Glyn

Thanks for th eoffer,I do planto create a good quality flyer in the not to distant future and will drop by and introduce myself, unfortunately I am currently back in hospital in Bangkok as the problem I previously had with my arm has come back to haunt me. I went to AEKUDON and was advised by my their Orthapedic surgeon that my arm was to complicated for him to handle but he would write a referral letter to Bumrungrad!!!

While I am here if anyone has a problem with the staff drop me a PM and we will fix it very quickly.

Paul,

I cant understand the complaints by some of the members here about the Park..... As you know I fished there a few times in July. Apple looked after myself and the gf very well and there were no problems. Food was excellent and the fishing was great too. The gf loves the place and for her to say that about a place believe me it must be good!

If i go to a fishing park here in Ireland its usually 10 Euros to fish and another 10 for the bait, no food or drink available and you are lucky to catch a fish. Now if i compare to Sabai Sabai there is no comparison really. Sabai Sabai is great! Over the 3 days i fished there I had Jeramid to 8 kilos. Caught them on Jack fruit. It was enivatable that the fish were going to become harder to fish as they have been caught before but for me there lies the challenge.....

Dont be too upset about the comments Paul, while Im sure they think they have a point I would just like to remind them of fishing at home!

OT will second that. I've not been around since the single hook rule, however looking and hearing about the amount of stock that's in the pond, OT should be able to catch something. I like catching the pla nin and sending it straight to the chef to cook it how I want, very arroy.

A group of us had a great day out at sabai sabai yesterday :D

We was lucky to get the last fishing hut available, everyone caught quite a few decent fish, they have great food and excellent service :D

It is nice to see a fishing park kept so nice and clean, I have been to others in the town and they are like rubbish dumps

We are certainly looking forward to our next outing :D

Congratulations to the management and staff for such a well run establishment =D>

Both Myself and My wife P were delighted to read the comments posted recently as we had a few negative comments which were valid and had to be addressed. We are trying to create a fishing Park suitable for all the family to enjoy and welcome any suggestions to make the place even better that it is. Our biggest problem to date has been finding good staff but eventually we will get there. I plan to try and hire a good chef who can also do a western menu as well as thai food,as even I miss somethings like a nice sausage or bacon sandwich when fishing.

Paul,

As you know running a business in Thailand is difficult, you would know this better than i and I think it goes back to the old addage that you can please some of the people some of the time but you cant please all of the people all of the time!

If someone has a problem I dont understand why they wouldnt send a PM to you so it would be addressed rather than try to hurt your business by posting negative comments for everyone to read! From what Ive heard you are a good guy that immediatly tries to fix any problem when brought to your or Pee's attention.

I look forward to relaxing, eating good food and trying new tactics at the Park when i make the move later in the year. Please get better soon

I think the Forum would be a bit of a boring place if sponsors on lt only received 'pats on the back' from it.
Many who had never tried the establishment might think it was all just advertising blurb if the odd - sensible & reasonable - problem was not aired.
Paul ackowledges that while he had medical problems both he & P took their 'eye off the ball'. That, to me, is perfectly understandable. Sadly staff in Thailand quickly lose interest once the boss is not around - I have noticed this in other well run establishments in Udon as well.... go when the boss isn't around & the service level deteriorates rapidly - even more so if you are a 'regular' as the staff seem to believe that because you are a regular you do not matter
I have never had a disappointing time at Sabai Sabai (I have gone and not caught fish, but I have managed that feat on 5 continents!! :D ) but I have never been when either Paul or P were not there!!

Bob you point is well taken however the people who have been at the Park that complained have obviously been there before and had a good time......Now after one bad experience they complain. I would have thought a more professional way to complain would be to contact Paul or Pee privately first and then if the problems wernt addressed then sure go for it post away on what the problems are. What im saying is people should be given the opportunity to fix problems that arise before somebody tells the entire ex pat community about it.

Im not only talking about Paul, i was reading another post about the Bookstore Library place and a guy complained cause there was kids running around. He markets the place as family friendly....also the guy that complained had been in before with his drunk gf and she had puked all over the place in front of other customers from being drunk...I mean what a cheek!

Hey this is only my opinion and other people are entitled to theirs, however misguided they are.....
