Word is the government will begin paying for excess fed to grid starting this September.
How's this going then? Is it the usual, nothing happened?

Re: ..Thai people don't even know the meaning of the word reform

When I went to look "bpaL dtiL ruupF" I was expecting it to be an older less frequently used word, but I was wrong. It seems to be the word used for reform most often. There are three other words with similar meaning, but much less frequently used. There are probably hundreds of words that the avera...

Re: Sakhon Nakhon all but cut off by floods

Quite a spectacle at Khuen Nam Un. Many people partying (complete with food vendors) as they watch the water fall into the overflow port. It's like watching a blowhole in Hawaii

Re: Sakhon Nakhon all but cut off by floods

Went into the local town (Phang Khon) but could not reach it. Pha Na Nikom is apparently flooded as well. So, we had to go 20kms into the hills to Waritchaphum and get some provisions at 7-11. The market was open there so we could get a few vegetables in. Luckily we live in the hills.... and not dow...

Let's see, at least 100km of perimeter of this lake and that water has to fall into a 4-5 meter (diameter) pipe? :-k

Re: Sakhon Nakhon all but cut off by floods

Yeah, raining here for days now. I went to the large dam nearby, Nam Un the morning of the 28th. The reservoir is apparently the most full in Thailand from this website... (the red pin) http://www.kromchol.com/array/BDam.htm The water was inches from the top of the overflow port (or whatever it is c...

Re: LED Bulbs

problem sometimes is not the quality of the bulbs , but the quality of your electric installation , as led lights are very sensitive ... ;) poor sensitive little things  Hmmm, firstly, you have never been to my house, and therefore do not know what the "electrical installation" is. It is the s...

Re: LED Bulbs

I hadn't realized that the "Eve" brand made complete fixtures. Thus the confusion I guess. You made me think about the insulation. I wasn't here when they installed it, so perhaps the insulation is covering the top of the fixtures. Then again, we did not put much (if any) insulation in the first flo...

Re: LED Bulbs

rjj04 Just advise are you using replacement LED lamps in normal fitting or did you install a whole LED fixture? Sorry, not sure if I understand the question. I am just replacing standard E27 type bulbs. 5-10W types. The fixtures do not seem to be a problem, at least I don't see any rust or anything...
