Day Spa / Massage President Hotel
Leaving in the morning for our first trip to Udon for 2.5 years. Staying with the outlaws this time but last visit we stayed at the President Hotel. We enjoyed the place and would recommend it to anyone. One of the things i really liked about it was the Day Spa / Massage that was located in the hote...

Re: For concerned Parents....
Anyone that smokes in the vicinity of their, or for that matter, anyones kids should have their forehead branded or have a tatoo that says F***WIT ! The brain capacity of smokers rivals that of an ant in the first place so you can understand why they dont give a stuff about anyone around them. If th...

Re: President Hotel Udon Thani
In your original post you gave the staff an absolute "caning", and now you want to tell us how friendly and helpful they are. Like i said in my last post, Spanker of the highest order. First it was wifi, then a cockroach and now the poor gecko's. Stop giving us all the Sh*ts and go bother someone wh...

Re: President Hotel Udon Thani
Whoever is responsible for the OP, we are all entitled to have an opinion. I have stayed at the President many times before and after reading your comments i have formulated my own opinion of you. You are a Spanker of the highest order. I have never read so buch BS in my life. Seeing as though i hav...

Re: 30 Day Visit Question
Bob you are right on the money. If we are planning to stay longer than a month when we visit, we just drop my passport into the Thai consulate in Sydney and pick it up in a couple of days with a 60 day visa stamp and no cost. I believe if you do it when you get to Thailand there is a cost involved a...

Re: Where can I watch Australian football in Udon Thani?
I did get plenty of laughs from the Collingwood jokes and will try to memorise as many as i can for future use. Although the conditions were poor at best, the standard was really good and both teams went were angels fear to tread on most occasions. Poor old Nick "Polevault" worked like a trojan all ...

Re: Where can I watch Australian football in Udon Thani?
Hey Wazza. 24 hours prior to the big game you were posting on this thread at world record speed, constantly extolling the virtues of the Saints. I have noticed you have been eerily quiet during the 24 hour post match. If i could give some advise to the St Kilda recruitment people, you will never win...

I am not trying to be pedantic but its St Kilda with an a, not er, and Gary has one r, not two. I cant believe an Aussie could get that wrong. Anyway, benefit of the doubt. Onward and upward and all of that crap...

The Cats are home for all money fellas. They will have plenty on the Sainters on Saturday. The G.F is played at the G as we all know and Geelong are geniuses at playing there in Saturdays forcasted conditions. The Saints are brilliant under the roof at docklands but they will find Saturday a differe...

Re: Oz Tourist Visa for Single Parent Child
Jack, with all the visas we have done, all Thai documents must be traslated. We had some done in Bangkok and others done in Udon. I cant remember which ones were done where but Oz immigration accepted all wherever they had been translated. The ones we had done in Udon we dropped in the morning and p...

Re: Oz Tourist Visa for Single Parent Child
Easy fix for the passport renewal Stan. My wife just went to the district office in Udon and had her daughters surname changed back to her surname. My wife never took the fathers surname as they never registered the marriage at the office, they just had the ceremony only. I think, from memory, she o...

Re: Oz Tourist Visa for Single Parent Child
That document giving her sole guardianship is more than enough for Oz Immigration purposes. I did the whole process from tourist visa back in 2006 through to my wife and her daughter now being permanent reidents in Oz as of Jan this year. Our story is similar as the father bolted after her daughter ...
