Re: Health Scare In Rayong, Visiting Egyptian Delegate Had Covid-19

This can't bode well for reopening the country to outside tourists.

She is the ideal candidate in so many respects....
Apart from the obvious, I see two additional drawbacks. First, she only really has one issue. Second, her speaking style is far from compelling compared to, say, Warren (whom I definitely DON'T WANT as VP), and Harris.

Facing the Giants

This review from Whistler. Due to limitations of the way that this system was first set up, I had to post it (but I haven't seen the movie).
I just watched for too long a movie called 'Facing the Giants' on Netflix. It is vomitus, a Christian piece of propaganda that defies description.

Re: Bubonic Plague Reported from China

As always, important to know something about the source of your news. From Wikipedia: The Epoch Times is known in Europe to promote far-right politicians, and in the United States it backs President Donald Trump; a 2019 report showed it to be the second-largest funder of pro-Trump Facebook advertisi...

On top of that, internet and technology giants like google, Apple, Oracle and Microsoft use tax transfer mechanisms so they pay little tax in countries where they make large profits. I'm not sure that I understand you, -- you're saying that Johns Hopkins is the ONLY reliable source of information in the entire United States about the COVID-19 virus?

Actually, 747man, no one has been banned from UM in years, since one of the Moderators left. He viewed banning people as an effective way to control the debate. I don't believe in it.
