We had 25+ in for lunch yesterday . most stayed for a beer and a chat , but I did notice that no one was glued to their phone ,I sat with a group and there wasn't even a single phone on the table . Yes they are a strange one. From what I understand they're called pies simply because the mash topping resembled a pie . also seems Scottish Shepard's pie can be made with pastry. Now that's something I didn't know

The simple answer is no, not even close. As stated pies consist of two pieces of pastry with a filling consisting of meat/ veg in gravy baked in a tin. The cost of basic servicing here is SO CHEAP that I use Mitsubishi for mine, never more than Thb 2000 for Oil change including filter.
