Re: Is it politically correct

Considering the pathetic field of competitors, don't count him out. You may be looking at the best of the worst.

Re: The Brick House.

Fury changed trainers in order to improve his power punches and then gained a few pounds. Good thing I didn't bet on the fight. I was really surprised that in the very first round Fury had Wilder boxing backing up. After keeping him backing up, it really wasn't much of a fight.

Re: Beware of Lazada.

I try not to order any item unless it is available locally. Also, large and heavy items often have delivery problems, such as a solar panel and a deep cycle battery. Kerry usually does a good job but some other delivery companies are cowboys and lie to the customer.

Re: U.S. Politics

Food for thought. We all know that the majority of career politicians are liars, besides being corrupt. If all the liars were sentenced to 9 years in prison congress would be pretty well cleaned out and we could have a new start. Without term limits, nothing will improve.

Re: Why would you want to. Stay in Thailand.

I had a friend who was totally negative. I told him that if he hated Thailand so much there are other countries to try. He moved to Cambodia and was back in Thailand in less than a year. He said that Cambodia was worse than Thailand ... Can you recall what his problems with Cambodia were? The corru...

Re: Is it time to say bye Thailand?

I was able to retire at age 59. I made the big move to Thailand and immediately purchased a health insurance policy. I had one claim in the six years I had the policy. That was for appendicitis. I made sure that the company would never cancel me because of age. What I didn't consider was that they w...

Re: VietJet Udon-Saigon?

Those of you who live near Udon are lucky. They have flights to nearly anywhere you would like to go. Living in Loei, flights to Bangkok go the Don Muang. That's a pain getting from there to Jomtien. I'd go down a lot more often if they had flights to Utapao. From where I live, it's a 2 1/2 hour dri...

Re: Why would you want to. Stay in Thailand.

I'm certainly not happy having to jump through all the immigration hoops, BUT, it's a small price to pay for all the things I do like. I can understand those who are cash strapped complaining, but whose fault is that, certainly not the countries doing. I had a friend who was totally negative. I told...

Re: Visa Extension

My Thai wife changed her last name to mine when we were married. I had told her that it was up to her. One reason she changed it was when we went on our little trips and checked into a hotel she didn't want them to think she was a prostitute.

I do agree that it is simple. Why would anyone want to stay somewhere that they obviously hate? You can always go back to where you came from.

I don't know much about Roger Stone. What I do know is that it was shameful to send in a SWAT team to arrest a helpless guy. They made a circus out of the arrest. You would have thought he was public enemy number one. Simply stupid.

Tucker who? Why would any sane person criticize someone they don't know. Of course that makes as much sense as your normal hateful posts.

Re: Beware of Lazada.

Lazada isn't perfect but I have never had a serious problem and that is after hundreds of orders. I buy nearly everything through Lazada rather than going shopping. I should mention that I hate shopping. My wife does all the shopping and she normally cannot find what I want.

Re: Trump "wows" Germany

I heartily approve of running the government more like a business rather than like the business as usual political hacks. You cannot possibly deny that Trump's methods are working very well. It's the president's job to make sure that his team members are all pulling in the same direction. If you don...

Whether you like it or not, the president has the right to select his team players. If they cannot support his agenda, they are not team players.

If he's such a great guy then how come he keeps firing people on his team? The answer is in your question. They are NOT members of his team. They are Obama leftovers and should have been fired long ago. Unfortunately the new broom did not sweep clean enough, yet. Trump is learning. Gordon Sondland ...

Re: Why do you stay in Thailand?

Every country has warts, nowhere is perfect. As for myself, I am content out here in the boonies and can't think of anywhere else I would want to be. I still have the option of visiting my own condo in the farang ghetto of Jomtien if I want a change of scenery. It could well be that some are financi...
