License plates for big bikes

Re Panicks post the only thing that makes sense is Tip 1 .... Always wear a crash helmet. The rest is a load of Bollocks: I have had cops chase me in pick up going thru a red light (unintentionally). I have seen a cop try and shoot tires out on a Thai chaps VFR 400 on a ride to kao yai. many years a...

I ride a Merida cross Bike, ideal for for the taller rider, plenty of tire clearance in case yr caught in mud and as comfortable as a bike can be, Uses standards road tires( 28 in) so you don't have to drag heavily treaded Mountain bike tires. Had the bike for 3 yrs and apart from the tendency to pi...

Why are helmet laws enforced?

Always wear my cycling helmet, 3 years ago a mate lost his life because he didn't bother.
Ridden MC's for 40 years and always wore decent helmet, I wouldn't ever put those Plastic local things on my head.
Locals thinks its cool to go helmet less and sadly a few farangs too. [-X

bagel. A plain commercially produced bagel (as evidenced by grate marks used in steaming, rather than boiling) Bagels with cream cheese and lox (cured salmon) are considered a traditional part of American Jewish cuisine (colloquially known as lox and a schmear). Death at Big C Junction

I'm skeptical of the 7468 fatalities mentioned.. I am never the first away from those lights, let someone else test the the water before me. One thing to bear i mind re figures, Thailand only counts fatalities at the scene so if you croak on the way to, or in the hospital, you are not in official t...

Its always saddening to hear of a needless death BUT, if you don't have the advanced skills to ride a MC, even a low powered one as is the phantom, you shouldn't contemplate riding one. Partic in low light conditions and ill equipped in terms of safety ( protective ) gear. I have ridden and raced he...
