Re: Post Covid ecomony

Got my first Moderna vaccine one week ago, 2nd day upper arm very sore, 3rd day after just tender and stiff, after that nothing. Due 2nd dose 8 March. Getting from Veterans Administration here in U.S. Can you get from the VA even though you have never claimed a disability or even used them before?

Re: Will Trump concede?

I stand corrected. I had read Canada, along with the United States, was some of the most expensive oil.

Re: Miscellaneous COVID-19/Corona Virus Discussion, Questions, etc.

Some interesting numbers here, from the UK, total death rates, 2018 - 541,589. 2019 - 530,841. 2020 - 529,928. From Aus 2018 - 158,493. 2019 - 169,301. 2020 to Oct 27 - 116,345. Mmmmm pandemic, something doesn't seem correct, I would have thought the numbers would be x5 at least for 2020??? I just ...

Re: Witch Hunt part deux... The Second Impeachment

<Snip> Just maybe they think he did a good job. Are you saying that in jest? Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, who voted "not guilty," in the trial, offered scathing remarks about Trump after the verdict. Re: Will Trump concede?

Like it or not, Canadian crude oil is going to reach the market. Via pipeline is the cheapest and safest way but if not via pipeline, by rail or road, or in the case of the California refineries by sea. Canada can and will build pipeline capacity from the oil fields to the sea. The Chinese will be ...

But then again, the five people who did die were all irrelevant, right? Just a few "nobody's".

Although I don't normally deal in "what ifs", I do wonder what would have happened if any of those individuals who stormed the US Capitol on January 6th and they had iactually gotten a hold of Pence or any of the GOP senators and did serious harm to them, what would Mitch McConnell's or Lindsey Grah...

It's funny that you are worried about 1,000 temporary jobs glalt, where was your outrage when all those farmers had to file for bankruptcy due to Trump's trade war that accomplished nothing? These pipeline jobs were temporary, those farms had probably been operational for decades. Where is your outr...

Re: Will Trump concede?

There will be no repercussions for the cancellation of the XL pipeline project. Canada has no legal standing for anything that happens in the United States. If you read Trump's executive order, it clearly states that the POTUS can cancel the permit at any time. You should do your homework.

Re: Will Trump concede?

As you well know, or should know, Trump had a whole stable of high powered tax attorneys. They used every loop hole possible. That's the kind of tax code that needs revised. Closing those huge loopholes should be a priority.. It's not the corporations or companies that should be paying high taxes. ...

Re: Will Trump concede?

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will go down as one of the biggest farces in history. While it was set up for corporatiions to keep their 40% decrease permanent, the everyday Joe's cuts will expire in 2025. Who was that to set up to benefit? Definitely not the working class.

Re: Will Trump concede?

I'm kind of curious of what Biden has done so far that is going to cost the taxpayers so much, especially given the fact that Trump provided more socialism in four years than anyone before him. Trump's printing machine ran 24/7 for four years straight.
