Re: Oz documentaries
Possible the best series made by Pauly Fenech and crew is Shift and Swift Couriers with many episodes on Youtube. Aussies will recognise the great Ian Turpie, sporting the iconic Aussie middle management fashion statement of shorts and long socks. Gold

Re: English Premier League 2020/21
Looking forward to seeing Leeds back in the big time. They have a big following with Aussies given the legacy of Tony Dorigo, Harry Kewell and my mate Vidukes. Bielsa seems to like to play an exciting brand of footy so here's hoping they can stick around for a bit.

Re: A little ray of sunshine from Australia
That's the spirit. This virus could easily rear its ugly head again in the sandgroper and cockroach states. Hopefully not from an AFL player. More likely from a hotel employee getting a bit intimate with a quarantined guest. Who are the security guards and who are the quarantine hotel guests they w...

Re: A little ray of sunshine from Australia
Getting the hotel quarantines right isn't easy. I used to live in post code 3039. That's near some of the locked down post codes. Are you soon back in lock down marjamlew? I wasn't too far from this address: https://static.ffx.io/images/$zoom_1.459%2C$multiply_0.7554%2C$ratio_1.776846%2C$width_1059...

Has there ever been a time when sport wasn't used for political ends?

Re: Foreigners To Be Allowed In
Of the 21 new cases here today 16 were Aussies returning from overseas. People here are NOT HAPPY about letting fellow Aussies in even if they do the two weeks in a hotel. Can't see us letting in non-Aussies for a long time and I think the Thais are look at reciprocal arrangements. Won't be happenin...

Re: Australia’s moral fibre collapsing to refugee animals
Somali's I think..big gang problem in Melbourne.. me I think its wrong to relocate refugee's from African nations into a basically white society. Doesnt work..doesnt work in NZ either where Somali youth are a wee bit of a problem..they feel alienated, and so stick together, and the young ones hang ...

Re: Australia’s moral fibre collapsing to refugee animals
Young Aussie/Samoan lad was knifed out my way yesterday afternoon. Very sad. Word around the campfire is that the boys who did the stabbing were from the Burmese Chin refugee community and the dispute was related to a social media post. Those arrested as young as 13. What a waste. https://www.abc.ne...

Active cases of the virus drop from 420 to 143 in two days. All states now less than 100 cases. Will soon be 25,000 at the footy at the G. Good old Aussie song that goes with the thread: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWfliMUqy64

Re: A little ray of sunshine from Australia
There were also 50,000 people, each day, shopping at Highpoint Shopping centre on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (long weekend Queen's birthday - thanks Lizzy). Apparently people were queuing for 90 minutes to get into Footlocker and spend their cash on a new pair if Nikes. Black lives may matter but n...

Re: A little ray of sunshine from Australia
The size of the crowd is pathetic and hardly represents the view of all Melburnian's, let alone that of the majority of Australian's. What a crowd of 10,000 or may 20,000 at a pinch in Melbourne. Bonnie and Clyde had more people at each of their funerals \:D/ \:D/ =D> If they had managed to get 500...

but common sense and good government is working. Didn't the government just let thousands mingle in the city with no social distancing?????? The government advise was and still is to stay home if you don’t need to be out. The protest leaders were fined $1600. Common sense and good government. Could...

No new virus cases today in Victoria. First time since the 5th of March. Not over yet by a long shot as winter kicks in but common sense and good government is working.

Re: Antifa Now Terrorists
We are all the forum . Trying to talk sense with Trump haters is pointless, it seems their brains go into disconnect and all they can do is repeat nonsense while they ignore the facts. Lonestar tried many times with the same results. Kind of like the old saying, you can't fix stupid. So anybody tha...
