1) The world record for stuffing drinking straws into your mouth at once is 459. Manoj Kumar Maharana, from India, broke the world record on 28th August 2017 for stuffing 459 drinking straws in his mouth at once! In order to break it, he had to keep them in his mouth for at least 10 seconds. But do...

Re: Overpass/tunnel Udon Ringroad Nongkai Hwy

The area where the underpass has its Southern entrance has (in the last 20 years) been probably the most flooded road in Udon, having been under 6 - 12 ins of water on at least a dozen times (and once continually for several days) Maybe you may have missed the ~1.5 m elevation of the ramps at both ...

While everyone is talking swithes, compressor etc., it might also be lose of coolant (freon) as there would be no cooling but compressor would still run. Just my 2 baht worth as I'm no expert.

I think the much bigger diameter wheels would be a lot more stable. Those small wheels would not be very good for a road with potholes.
makes for a smoother ride as well as to jump the gutters, some nice 20" motor cycle rims, pimp it up with a 1.5kw motor and add a few more gears

Thanks for that. All very informative too. Regardless, I'm still not a member of China's Belt & Road Fan Club and only hold contempt for the corrupt foreign governments that allow themselves to be bought. The belt and road project will take the 200klm/Hr train via Singapore strait across to Sumatra...

Re: Fridge Repair Service In-Home

I have had 5 fridges die on me over my many moons in Thailand and only one required a new compressor and that was because it went underwater in Mrs tams flooded restaurant. The last one that died, the big, 15 year-old kitchen one that I came home to on New year's Eve that wasn't cooling. The compre...

Re: brit killed by firework in face

Having seen the video, Gary's behaviour seems inexplicable. In UK, everybody was brought up with "light at arms length, and NEVER return to a firework that has not gone off". For some reason, he remained bent directly over the firework even though the video clearly shows the fuse burning. Whatever,...
