This law was enacted last October but has never been enforced. Its primary purpose was to prevent supermarkets from flouting the alcohol selling hours ban by including it a gift basket . They were I understand given a choice. Take the whiskey out or only sell gift baskets containing it within the permitted alcohol hours. They chose the former .So quite logical to me . For once .
