Should we eat more fish?

Postby Naam Jai » June 16, 2008, 11:17 am

Does it improve brain function?
Would that make any difference to living here?
Make for a better community?
Solve our behavioural problems?
Improve learning difficulties?
Improve the diet?
Encourage more breast feeding?
Get smarter?
Have a greater regard for Eskimos?
Treat depression?
And other obsessive compulsive disorders?

Yes of course!

Would contributors consider increasing their intake of sardines, salmon, makerel and fresh tuna?

Saint
Accordingly intelligence must be inherited not acquired then?
But I will take your comment as a compliment.
Others might be more cynical, or at least suspicious.

Is the "third rock from the sun" getting closer to earth?
A sort of second coming of a rock cake

Please don't decline to comment but do read my original closely before you do. :(

They won't like it but three seconds later they'll forget what you asked so it won't matter anyway...

I eat fish quite regularly over here...Tabtim,Red & White Snapper,Mackerel etc.and always enjoy the meal. But I too never think about the eskimos, more like what type of beer to wash it down with !
But I try to balance my diet and eat chicken and my favourite roast lamb with mint sauce and roast potatoes ! :D

Naam Jai,
Q 1 to 5, Ans. Not correct.
Q 6 Yes it does.
Q 7 to 11, Ans Not correct.

Have always been a fan of sardines, salmon, tuna and mackerel. A lot of myths were around for fish, but have been disproven over time.

wizard on Q 1 to 5 ans not correct I am lost with your post I do know fish oil and omega 3 are very good for you and they come from fish that why it called fish oil LOL I also heard that red meat is NOT healthy for you / I also heard Chicken is good for you but the skin is fattening sadly I love the skin LOL / I think it would benefit most of us readers if you posted some results as to why certain foods are good and some are bad /

Ron, I dont know where you got the Idea that Red meat is bad for you. All the latest studies show that Red meat at least twice a week is very beneficial, with the fat trimmed off of course. Enjoying the skin of a Chicken is probably o.k. as long as its not every day. And Omega 3 fish oils are definitely good for your heart and your Brain function as well as preventing hardening of the Arteries. Just remember what your Parents always told you...." everything in moderation "
