SIM for IPhone-4

Can I get a micro SIM for my IPhone-4 in Udon? Where? There used to be an Apple shop in the Complex but when last there I did not see it.

If I can get a SIM, can I get a data plan for a couple of months?

You can purchase a pre-pay micro sim at any of the network providers. They have several different plans. I got mine for AIS at the Telewiz shop at Central Plaza.

Just remember if IPhone is original AT&T model it is locked to their network, to work in Thailand it must be "unlocked" to use any of the thai networks, even with a Thai sim card. This is per my son, who is here now, but will take his AT&T IPhone4S back to Thailand when he returns there from school here.

Thanks but I haven't seen a locked phone yet these guys cannot unlock. Hopefully that goes for the IPhone as well

The 'shop' is now back on the 1st. floor up in the Complex, very nearby where it used to be,
It is just an area of a few desks at the moment rather than the glass enclosed area that it was before.
I would imagine that once all the new areas are opened later in the year then it will go back to having a rather grander presence as before...

I've been unlocking iPhones for a long time now. As of now there is no unlock for the newer iPhone 4 or any of the iPhone 4s. Modmyi.com is a good source for recent updates.

Just a quick update for all you guys stuck with a iPhone from the States locked to ATT.

I called them yesterday they said it would take a few days to unlock it. Great news! No more hacking, jailbreaking and sim card imposers.
