Hi, it is easy to forget that even in Europe after a spell of dry weather, the first rain causes the road to be slippery. After living here for a long time many residents ( ex-pats ) forget this, as the roads here are hotters and some tyre makes softer then it is inevitable that transference of rubber to the roads will occur. it will also means that until either roads dry out or a period of heavy rain occurs the roads will become slippery and gears not brakes are the preferred option to slow down or to drive in safe fashion.
Something unfortunately Thais don't learn until it is too late.
