Anyone Blighty side going to the Songkran festival at the Buddhapadipada temple in Wimbledon on Sunday 12 April? Always well attended - the food is pretty good as well.

I'll be there, the short four eyed bloke with the Thai wife (unless the Muslim ladies get me first).

No worries, my chauffeur parks the Bentley by the tennis courts and we walk up the hill. Plenty of space down there.

Usually the London restaurants set up stalls and sell Thai and Isaan meals, Pad Thai, spring rolls, green curry, you get the picture. There's also ice cream vans and stalls selling coffee. There's a small market at the back somewhere. One thing the monks don't like is alcohol on the grounds.
