Unless you want to look like Norman Wisdom, I'd prefer to purchase a suit from the tailors of Bangkok or Pattaya.
You can't miss them, the shops always have a frilly shirted mannequin set off by a sequined jacket, normally in red or purple sequins displayed in the window.

Westers,Get the 1955 classic Man of the moment out on DVD..around 28 minutes and 18 seconds an Indian gentleman(who after 2 days and 2 nights of research in my own time, i found out that his name WAS Mr Singh) walks past Norman and his girlfriend when they are going in the furniture store shortly after entering the store Norm breaks out into song ......also the very same Man gets a mention on Normans own website, I rest my case M'lud.

And apologies Ter...this is not helping with your 'suit in Udon' inquiry.

Joking apart lads, I'd recommend Classic Taylor's in Pattaya.
Made a lot of clothes for me over the years, suits, shirts, golf shorts, even loud and bodacious shirts for the Songhran celebrations. The quality is very good. Nothing has ever fallen apart.

The shop even keeps your measurements on computer, so you can order another whistle and flute at a later date.
Always enjoy my visits to that shop and enjoy a whisky with the boss.

I've not seen the like in Udon.

D'you think I could borrow your copy?

About ten or fifteen years ago I did go out and have a suit made by a tailor in UTH, I didn't end up looking like Sir Norman Wisdom, though, more like a 4 foot 9 Lurch from the Addams family. So I have to agree with Prenders and recommend getting one made in Patters...or Hong Kong if you're ever passing through the Colony.
