There is one on the Sakon Nakon highway just off the main road called Alfredo, the old Picola Roma.

What is the crust like? What other pizza crust is it compareble to?
What about the sausage man? Was it tough or tender, was it a real Italiian sausage, did it have fennel and black pepper or was it hot?
Don't mind me asking, these are importent questions to me. I would like to know what I am in for if I go there and there is a problem finding good food around here.

Last time I was Udon, Nov 05, I was taken to an Italian restaurant near the night market up from the railway station. Is this the same restaurant Alfredo and was called Picola Roma near the night market.

The food was delicious from memory. Please if you can, let me know exactly whereabouts it has moved too. I will be back in Udon in about a weeks time.

The crust is thin and crisp, like a real Italien pizza. The pizza I had was a basic Mozzarella, tomato sauce and ham.If memory serves me,they had 5 types of pizza. The linguini sauce was really creamy. This restaraunt is featured on Udonmap restarauants on the homepage and has an with a phone number,if you need precise directions.

Afredo's pizza sounds like the real thing. I have heard some good reports on it.
The wife insisted on Pizza Company last time and also insists on buying only the ones with the little hot dogs stuffed into the crust. Kind of a pathetic situation for me.
Nothing like a good pizza!

Try the Trio Chicken from PC with the crust thin&crispy. Spread one bag of the chili powder that they provide over the pizza. This one has become my personal favourite.

Can not eat hot dogs on pizza, agree with that one...

We got "the funny?" here. The Chicken Trio sounds good and especially I like the hot pepper. But twice I asked for the crispy thin crust and the wife comes back home with the deep dish hot dog crust and never the onions that I like with the peperoni. Why she bothers to ask me what I want is odd? When I landed in Bangkok my wife and her daughter met me at the airport. They know that I love pizza so my daughter brought pizza to the airport for me to eat. I asked if it was peperoni and she said yes. When I opened it, it was pineapple and had all those little hot dogs beded in the crust. It dawned on me then "I am back in Thailand for sure" and besides being tired from a long time to get back here and a long and hecktic air travel with delays the memory of the food was a little troublesome. I had a bag of hand sliced Corando peperoni on me so I gave it to the daughter and she loved it.
Does any one know if Alfredo has real Italian peperoni for a topping? What size pizzas does he offer? I heard that he has a large one, does he have a medium size also, like 16"? Then of course what is the price on it? Probably an arm and a leg I would imagine.
When I go there, I will come back and post my report on it all.
After reading the thread on Nong's Ribs I will be sure to get there soon also. What great reports on the place and wonderful looking ribs too! The price is right for return trips often, they must be boomin'!
