is not the seal of the city of Udon but the seal of the province of Udon Thani.
And it is no link to a sponsor at all. It's part of their „Keeping Up Appearences“

And don't expect that their club photographer would know anything about this or would understand why symbols might be important.

Good news though: "During the February 2012 Members Meeting, there was a vote of 'No Confidence' in the Board. The whole Board was dismissed". It seems to be that the majority of its shrinking membership still have a feeling of who are responsible for the decline of interest in that club. They apparently did not like that the former officials and presidents of the club tended to ignore the obvious signs that the Swiss Board Member was found guilty by the Swiss courts in early 2011.

I had in the past often thought I would nosey along and just see what this so-called Expat club did, or did not do, BUT when I read of the criminal misdeeds and members saying the club did nothing wrong BUT that the new and old president were in fact protecting the con-man and that treasurers come and go with alacrity, then I was right in my first assumption, LEAVE WELL ALONE, also I noted TB comments, who the hell wants to meet on a Sunday at lunchtime and in an Hospital, I may be old but continually visiting a hospital does nothing for me YET, in time perhaps as the man with the sickle comes knocking but not yet, less time in one keeps me sane.

Maybe that's the reason for the state of affairs lack of sanity.

WHAT EVER happen to the Swiss man, guess he is RIP(Resting in Prison)??
