Taxi Udon Airpot to Khon Kaen?

Hi All,

Long time no see! Rex your neighbor in Khon Kaen.

I will be flying Chiang Mai to Udon next month. I don't fancy a bus ride home. Is it easy to get a taxi or limo or car & driver or whatever Udon Airport to Khon Kaen?

Who? What? When? Where? Why? . . . and how much? I can get a car & driver from Avis from Khon Kaen to Udon for 1,400 THB. I can even get them to pick me up at Udon Airport, but it might be easier to just arranged something at the airport, if that is possible.

There are private taxis operating out of Udon airport, unfortunately due to the lack of greased palms the Udon taxi service is not allowed to standby or queue there. so ur getting somebodys family car, maybe a smoker ? and stinks inside etc...

The same company operates the KK taxi service and they are allowed to standby for fares at KK airport.

suggest u contact the KK taxi service and ask for a fixed fare rate - KKN - UTH - KKN.

if you go to the booth when you come out on your right.thats where you can leave your car in secure compound.they also do taxi they charge 200bht to nong khai.so i think they will be cheap. they have the pries on the wall.

There is a mini bus hire place, very near the airport, just around the corner. Six of us hired a mini bus and driver for 1,500B for 24 hrs., plus diesal. Don't know if they do car hire. Will get the phone number for you when wife comes back this afternoon. She did all the work when we hired the bus. Found the service very good.

the Poster is looking for a 1 way trip from Udon to KK, So any car hire will need to include a driver , to return the car.
