Thai "bar girls" drug and rob foreigners

Thai women drugging foreigners and robbing them in Phuket.

The sentences for convictions seem way to light, given that serious consequences and even death can occur when someone is drugged without their knowledge. Not sure if the influx in tourists and nightlife in Udon will see this sort of thing, as I do not go out at night nor do I interact with anyone who does.

Yes rct. I'ts a sad state the world has got into.
About thirty years ago used to hear a bit of this going on in BKK. Now it is throughout the world. When i was taking a class, 18 to 20 yr olds,, back home, i asked them why they drunk out of a bottle now, and did not use a glass. They said it is a lot safer than drinking out of a glass, to easy to put drugs in a glass without you knowing. A bottle is always kept in your hand, and harder to put drugs into. Their words.
So if drinking with strangers be very carful. It can as rct says kill you, or at the least spoil your holiday.

Next time why don't you post something about the crazy things the prostitutes in Kazakhstan get up to. Because that has about much relevance about the nightlife in Udon Thani as this thread. If there is a member of this forum that thought before reading this thread that bar girls from Phuket are all perfectly honest and truthful, please go and get your head tested. No doubt in the forthcoming weeks we will have similar thread of a dreadful story from Pattaya which again will be of no relevance to Udon Thani Nightlife.
I'd put this thread in Open forum where you can waffle on to your hearts content about anything/nothing.

OT perhaps you are right about "where to post", at least until someone happens to indicate similar problems making their way to Udon. I will have no firsthand idea, as I do not go out, so now pending others who may have experiences, or are there only glowing reports and positive experiences on Udon nightlife?

The first time I walked down that street with Irish Clock on it, with a visiting friend, we walked into a bar in the afternoon, and some very skanky woman not the least bit alluring walked right up to us in a drunken or drugged stuper, and said "I want to fxxx you." That was my intro to daytime (nightlife) in Udon. At least during the same walk we found Nobi's both the establishment and the man, so had a better feeling about Udon.

A fine of only a few thousand baht to a person who drugs foreigners is obviously not an effective deterrent, given the repeat offense. Also says something about safety in this country, Phuket, Udon, and everywhere. Buyer beware.

As to the drunk woman in a bar, again, no surprise there.

If you go with bar girls or boys hopefully get what you deserve...what are you doing there in the first place???

It won't be long before some of these ladies start moving to Udon Thani, they are already on the radar in Puket, Pattaya and BKK. Though Thai Police Radar, is like a shoe string telephone!!!!

With the $$$$ fines, I can see why the ladies continue to commit the same crimes while out on bail. Figure one good laptop and they're covered for any future fines!!!

Have to add, did you see the pics of one of the ladies.................who would pick her up??? Guess drugging the one in a thousand farang that accepts her offer is the only way to make a living (at her age/looks).
