Anyone know where you can buy a new/used Thai longboat or any small wooden boat please?

Bit confused by your request. Do you mean the traditional 11 man long boat like this photo ?

If so there is a man In our adjoining village at Nong Or that makes them for our boat race teams. Whether he sells them I am not sure . Can put you in touch if you want. You will also need a trailer though .

That's the one but ideally i would like a short version of it,say 3/4 man. I expect you will say get a kayak but have never seen a wooden one here.

There is a shop selling boats on the ring road (Highway 216).
Just past the flyover on the right going towards Khon Kaen, you'll see the boats stacked up outside the shop.
Not seen any Thai longboats made of wood outside the shop.

There are many wooden boats in use on the Nong Han, and many more looking somewhat abandoned in the mud.
I am sure you could pick up a second hand one for very little at Ban Don Kaeo
