Yum, I love Iced Coffee and I'm a Caramel freak :D will try one day for sure !! By the way, I have about a hundred copies of "Fishing Australia" magazine that have sat in my bookcase for about 15 years. they are full of facts and photo's and may be interesting reading for some. If you think they would be of any use let me know, and when I can finally afford another trip I'll throw them in the suitcase. It's a waste just sitting on a shelf :(

I think 35 baht is cheap at the price.
Remember you have to take the costs of running the place into consideration.
You're getting free newspapers, free internet, and a pleasant ambiance.

Wiking ,

Mokador Imported Italian coffee costs a LOT more than 5 baht .
so i decided to look at some of your posts .

you said in your previous posts on other topics

sorry the old swimming pool is not great,

and all Farngs bar, has agreed together, what the price has to be on, coffe 40 baht

internet in Udon Thani has never been good

great to see fuzzyken
but 35 baht for a cup instant coffee !!!!!!!!!!!

yes, farang food is expensive

I hope they will change some off their madrass, I can not sleep on these hard Thai madrass

there can you get a big beer for 50 baht and looking the nice young girls

there are a lot off rooms, you can rent from 2.000 baht

I was one time in this place, I only order black coffee, the first 2 time I got my order wrong, but no. 3 time they succed to deliver a cup black coffe

sooo , based on your own posts about Farang businesses in Udon

i can see two things .. firstly you are on a anti coffee crusade .. Hollandia , Fuzzys and The Bookhouse. :D

and secondly you are price concious ..

Good Luck =)

and secondly you are price conscious ..

you are a true gent.............i would of simply called him/her a cheap arse.........worst than me, that's pretty bad. 35 baht is fair price for coffee, especially non instant. have you priced a coffee machine lately, start at 50 K baht, and up, that's quite a few cups of coffee to sell to recoup that investment, and good coffee beans/ground is not cheap. it cost me about 15 baht a cup to make bon cafe at home, no coffee machine and the cheapest version of their coffee. newspaper and free wife, you're saving 15 an hour on wifi, and not sure what the paper cost now of days, so if you kill an hour there sipping coffer and reading, it's almost free.

well, i feel a little bit like bill gates now..............rich MF'er.  8)

Librarian. I can understand your annoyance at the criticisms of your business but feel if you choose to promote it in the Shopping topic, which is part of the general discussion section you must be prepared to accept both good and bad comments on it . I understood the Sponsors latest news forum was for promotion purposes and naturally would be annoyed at adverse comments on a paid for space .However if posted in the general melee forums then I 'm afraid like me you must be prepared to take some stick .
On the coffee issue. I often have elevenses in the Carrfour building. In there is a coffee house sells quite nice coffee for 35bht and also in the cafeteria section a counter sells it for 15bht .I use either depending on whether I prefer to lounge in a nice chair or sit at a table .You could say' You get what you pay for" and whatever you want on the day .So yours seems a reasonable buy to me . Hope to pop in soon .
