The Vanishing Pension scheme.

We may be the last ones who can afford to retire to Thailand on a generous final salery pension scheme.
Looks like they are being replaced by Ponzi ones.
My old company is winding their's up in July.

My old company stopped taking taking new entrants into the Final Salary scheme 2 years ago.
I believe that non pensioners have to transfer out of the Final Salary scheme into another option by next January.
It is indeed disappointing Prenders. Pretty soon the only people who will be on good pensions are the Chief Executives of private companies, civil servants & politicians.. :(
