its a case of reverse farang pricing that p1sses me off

if I want to eat the best Thai foods, I go to the best places in Udon for different things, and it is reasonably priced

3 years and 3 months (Oct 2008 - Jan 2012). Is that the biggest gap ever between consecutive posts on an udonmap thread?

Never tried the burgers, but being a "southern boy" from the U.S. I was delighted to discover they have GRITS! I eat breakfast there at least twice a month. Anyone know a local market where I can find grits?

No grits in all of Thailand...Ning (owner/operate) usually mail orders or has friends bring some when visiting. Familiar with SOS (chipped beef on toast), http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shit_On_a_Shingle she serves it, not on the menu have to ask for it.

Grits are available at the Villa Market in Bangkok. They have a personal shopper service which will ship nearly anything you want to Udon as well. http://www.villamarket.com/
They normally stock Quaker (120THB) & Albers brand (110THB) grits.

GREAT INFO! I'll be contacting them soon! Regarding "SOS"... it's probably the first solid food I ever had. My family couldn't afford Gerber's.

What corn patch do you hail from BigBubba?
Hit 'em hard, hit 'em fast, hit 'em with the one they don't expect, and just keep hitting.

Born in Memphis, TN., but being a military brat I've lived all over the place. Before moving here I spent the last 7 years in my little cabin in the mountains near Gatlinburg, TN.
